Say it with flowers

Say ‘KEEP OUT’ with flowers

Do you have a fence line where incoming excessive noise is not a problem (lucky you!), but incoming intruders are a problem (oh, sorry, not so lucky)

You could grow roses along that fence line. They will look pretty, and yet their thorns will be a kind of living barbed wire, helping to keep intruders out. They cost less to feed than a guard dog, never annoy the neighbours by barking, never need to go out for a walk, don’t leave little stinky heaps on the lawn, cannot be bribed and befriended, and are never off duty.

Roses growing under your windows also say ‘KEEP OUT’ in a charming, fragrant, silent way.
.
Now is a good time to plant your guard roses
